Halopen Films Birthday Week Schedule
It’s almost Halopen Film’s fourth birthday, and instead of celebrating for one little, twenty-four day, we’ve got an entire week (from Sunday, November 29 to Saturday, December 5) filled with various festivities happening each and every day. Maybe we should just call it ‘birthweek’. So, what’s going on? Here’s the low down…
------------------------- Sunday, November 29 (Day 1) - ‘Halopen’s The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword Contest’ begins: What better way to commemorate a birthday than pitting people against each other in a week long contest? The contest starts at 12 midnight EST (11PM CST, 10PM MST, 9PM PST) when the thread is posted. Monday, November 30 (Day 2) - ‘Halopen Films: Four Crazy Years Thread’: Time to get a little sentimental. Post your unwavering love and/or murderous pride for Halopen in this special thread. It’s okay to cry… The thread will be open all week until the 'Mightier Than the Sword Contest' is closed. Tuesday, December 1 (Day 3) - “Quixotical” Scene 1 release: Happy Birthday! Here’s a look at a failed project! Take a glimpse of the now canceled Halopen project, “Quixotical”, and its completely edited first scene. Wednesday, December 2 (Day 4) - Halopen Pencast 15: After a month of hibernation, the Pencast roars back to life for a very special Halopen birthday/Pencast anniversary episode. Expect a lot of birthday sex…talk… Thursday, December 3 (Day 5) - Shhh, Super Secret Surprise: Is it a video, an announcement, or something else? You just have to check the forums to find out. Whatever it is, it should be up by 12 noon EST. Friday, December 4 (Day 6) - Halopen Birthday Funday Bash!, Day 1: It just wouldn’t be a party without a little Halo 3/ODST! Join in with Halopen members for plenty ‘o games starting @ 7PM EST (6PM CST, 5PM MST, 4PM PST) and ending…whenever it ends. Saturday, December 5 (Day 7, Final Day) - Halopen Birthday Funday Bash!, Day 2: Did you miss Friday’s festivities or do you simply want more? Well, we’re giving you more Halo 3/ODST action starting again @ 7PM EST (6PM CST, 5PM MST, 4PM PST) until your arms fall off.* ‘Halopen’s The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword Contest’ ends: After a long hard week of constant contesting, it’s time to draw it to a close. Submissions end @ 11:59PM EST (10:59PM CST, 9:59PM MST, 8PM PST). *Halopen Films is not liable for the spontaneous amputation any arms, legs, or other appendages caused by excessively playing Halo 3 and/or Halo 3: ODST during either of the two Birthday Funday Bashes held during Halopen Films Birthday Week ’09. ------------------------- A note on Halopen Birthday Funday Bash! 1 and 2: These are open to everyone who would like to celebrate or just want to play some good ‘ole Halo. That means you can join in even if you’re not in the clan. All you have to do is send the gamertag WWW HALOPEN NET a friend request and wait for a game invite during either night. Depending on attendance, games and invites may be limited per person not a part of Halopen.

I guess we could do a photo op if we can get enough people...
Damn you Modern Warfare 2!!! And for the birthday skit, I don't think we could work it out quick enough to release it next week. We could get the filming and put it together, but I don't think the voice acting would pull together in time. Anyways, remember the contest starts tonight at 12 midnight EST! Watch for the thread to be posted around that time!

We could do the voice-acting in like 2 days if we tried hard enough. Everyone gets on vent and records their lines, or record via e.g audacity, and send.

unfortunately I won't be making it to the birthday bash part of the week. Either days.
My cousins getting married and I'll be out of town. Sorry guys.
