So, you guys wanted a new homepage, say bye to the old cool looking splash screen :P

I just installed vBAdvanced which is a "Portal" system for vBulletin (what i always wanted to do ever since we started halopen.net)

Whats so cool about it ?

Forum integration to the main site. So when you go to halopen.net, you have access to all info within halopen.net forums....cool huh ?

I dont know about you guys but i like it hehe :P i hope you do too. Ill be tweaking some of its settings and you will notice some changes, so dont get used to what you currently have there cuz itll change. Any suggestions ? post them up !

About the overall website's look....please check the thems dump thread under Feedback and Suggestions....

Looks good, Mr. M. After over a year, we finally have a site again!

Let me throw around some suggestions

an actual side-page for our videos that was similar to our halopen.com one which displayed graphics for each movie which were linked to a page with the embedded Vimeo player and a little synopsis. For series, I believe we had a single page containing all of the episodes of whatever series graphic you clicked on.
Pencast page? I know it's possible, but it would really be awesome to get it up. I need to learn how to upload those BTW. If it's possible, I think it would also be cool to have like a little comment box for each episode.

we can work it out....let me just look around some more with vBAdvanced features...i know extra pages can be set up....ill check how movies can be put up there without much effort.

How about a little box entitled 'Upcoming Machinimas' where we can put little text links to threads of our in-production projects? Maybe also a link to the WWW HALOPEN NET gamertag?
