"War (or War)" Filming Sessions Thread
First off, if you don't know what "War (or War)" is, read this thread first.
Finished?
Good because it's time to talk about filming sessions. For those unfamiliar with how we do things here at Halopen (or for those who may have forgotten), we (or mainly just I) set up scheduled filming sessions here and there, and you just show up and do what you need to do. This project is no different. Every so often, I will post a filming session or two a week in advance, so remember to check back to this thread when you see it has a new post.
Do not post in this thread telling me whether you can or can not come to a filming session! It will count as spam!
----------
"War (or War)" has a total of 25 scenes/skits/sketches, and the longest ones run no longer than 3 pages. So far (as of the posting of this thread), we've toppled 15 of those scenes! And for those trying to figure out the the math, that means we have 10 more scenes left to film. Now let's look at those as they're divided up into the "stories" from the movie...
'The Private and the Officer': 1 more 'standing around' scene which only requires two actors and a bunch of guest extras.
'The Passengers and the Pilot': Done and done
'The Two Soldiers': 3 scenes out of the 5 still have to be done for this story. 2 scene are just like the others we've been doing (shooting with as many people up at the 2 actors). And the last scene is going to need 7 actors in total (plus some back up shooters).
'The Prime Minister, His Advisors, and the Ambassador': Actually, we finished all 6 of these scenes!
'The Convoy': 4 out of 4 scenes remain. 3 of them need 3 actors to operate vehicles and 3 to head bob. The last scene is about the same except 1) we need an extra person 2) there's a lot of battle choreography.
----------
The next filming sessions (and final ones for this November) are...
Saturday, November 14 @ 4PM ET (3PM CT, 2PM MT, 1PM PT, 9PM GMT)
Sunday, November 15 @ 4PM ET (3PM CT, 2PM MT, 1PM PT, 9PM GMT)

Okay, here's an update on everything.
Though we didn't film much during our last filming sessions (damn you Modern Warfare 2!), I did get to go through what we have done. First off, when I went through a couple of films, I did notice for one of them that costumes were off, so we'll have to refilm it. Don't worry, it's just a two person scene.
But you can think about that later. There won't be a single filming session until after Halopen Birthday Week. So, enjoy the time off, but don't get lazy.

I thought it was more like the Satan of games that made everybody not want to come to filming sessions.
Okay, so I've got some more filming sessions to add.
Saturday, December 5 @ 4PM EST (3PM CST, 2PM MST, 1PM PST)
Sunday, December 6 @ 4PM EST (3PM CST, 2PM MST, 1PM PST)
Sunday, December 13 @ 4PM EST (3PM CST, 2PM MST, 1PM PST)
These will be the last filming sessions of '09, so let's do as much as we can!
Update: I have removed the Saturday, December 12 filming session.

Actually, the reason I removed the 12th is because I won't be available, so...

Things were a little hectic on Saturday, but we did manage to get some work done; three scenes to be exact. Now that leaves us with eight more scenes to go!
And let's get as much done as possible for our last filming session of this year.
Sunday, December 13 @ 4PM EST (3PM CST, 1PM PST, 9PM GMT)

Ready to get some a' filming a' done? I hope so. We need to finish this thing up soon. I've got two sessions for you all...
Saturday, January 9 @ 4PM EST (3PM CST, 1PM PST, 9PM GMT)
Sunday, January 10 @ 4PM EST (3PM CST, 1PM PST, 9PM GMT)
And we still have eight more scenes to go. It would make me happy to get at least three of them done.

Well, again, nothing got done this week.
1) In order to do what we need to do (aka make movies), people need to show up. This is why I send the multiple messages. I know some people have legitimate reasons, but we need to get this done. I don't want to have to cancel another movie, and I definitely don't want to start booting people.
2) Listen to me during filming (you know who you are). I know filming can get tedious after some time and you need to goof around a little, but when I say it's time to go, it's time to go. This goes especially for filming the other night. We were doing a scene for about an hour, and we had to switch out an actor for another. We had everything set up for the scene. Then a particular person runs right in with a Warthog and ruins that whole hour or so of filming. It's not only a waste of my time, it's a waste of the other actors' times.
Now that that's over with, I have some more filming sessions for you all...
Friday, January 15 @ 7PM EST (6PM CST, 4PM PST)
Saturday, January 16 @ 7PM EST (6PM CST, 4PM PST)

seriously...the goofing off has to stop, like when we made the ad video I was about to snap. Just a fair warning doing filming on fridays at that time can be a pain in the ass for some, remember schools up for some people and people usually use fridays to study or hangout with friends after a stressful week. just sayin.
