Halopen Films Forum and Website Rules and Regulations

As of today, November 8th, 2009, any and all members who sign up for an account to the Halopen Films forums must follow the following rules. These rules pertain to both the whole of the Halopen Films website and forums, and no one is exempt from the rules. Amendments to these rules can be made at any time. Halopen administrators and moderators hold the right to determine what is and what is not a violation of the rules and if a more severe or less severe punishment is needed.

1) As with all forums, there will be no spamming allowed here at Halopen. One word posts, smiley posts, and posts that deviate from a conversation or topic are punishable. Double posts are also covered by this, but some situations may not apply (e.g. updating a voice acting casting thread).

2) There will be no tolerance for flaming, racist remarks and slurs, and various other types of socially bad behavior. Halopen administrators and moderators hold the right to delete such posts or lock such topics.

3) No pornography or links to pornography. Such content may be offensive or inappropriate for some of Halopen.net community members. Halopen administrators and moderators can and will remove such content as soon as possible.

4) Absolutely no links to illegal or pirated content. Halopen administrators and moderators can and will remove such content as soon as possible.

5) No one is allowed to create a second account (unless they consult with a moderator or administrator first). Creators of a second account will have their second account deleted and have a private message sent to their first account. Sometimes there are problems with activating forum accounts, if you have such troubles, please contact a Halopen administrator or moderator first.

The above rules all are all implemented in Halopen’s 3-strike policy. Offenders breaking any and all of these rules up to three times (depending on the severity of the offenses) will receive a three day temporary ban. A strike expires in six months after the strike itself was given to the offender.

6) Hacking and tampering. Any attempt to disrupt the Halopen Films forums or website through hacking, action will be taken against you. The least offenders will receive is a permanent ban.

7) Any attempt (successful of not to work your way around a temporary ban will only prolong punishment to up to an extra three days.

Halopen Films Forum Advice

1) If you are having difficulty figuring out where to post a topic, please post it under the Break Room section. If a Halopen administrator or moderator can find a more suited section, they will move the topic for you.

2) The search bar is your friend. If you’re looking for an older topic or want to make sure no one has posted something you wish to post, use the search bar.

3) If you ever have a question about the website, forums, or Halopen Films, you are always welcome to contact any Halopen administrator or moderator. This goes the same for any troubles you may have.

4) Feel free to tell us how you like the site and/or forums and how we can improve them. All you have to do is post your opinions and/or suggestions under Feedback and Suggestions.
